# How to make your Tolino Vision 2 up to date with 2026/2027 ## Enable ADB * Open default Tolino App * Enter search by clicking the magnifying glass icon. * Enter following codes depending on what version you are running: * Tolino OS Version 14: 124816 * Tolino OS Version 15: 1123581321 * Tolino OS Version 16: 112358132fb * This will bypass the standard search results and directly launch the hidden Android developer / system debug menu. * In the Debug Menu, locate the option labeled USB Debugging (or Android Debugging). * Flip the switch or check the box to change it to Enabled. * (Highly Recommended) Look for an option called "Show debug dialog quick access button" and turn it on. This will create a permanent shortcut button in your search menu so you don't have to re-type the long Fibonacci code every time you restart. ## Connect to your PC Make sure your Tolino is seen by your PC. I'm using Arch and I had to install android tools: ``` sudo pacman -S android-tools ``` Make sure to also enable the storage driver: ``` sudo modprobe usb_storage ``` Check the connection with: ``` adb devices ``` Your Tolino should appear in the list adb devices returns. ## Download apps You should download the koreader and simple ink launcher apps from [https://downloads.sava.rocks/TolinoVision2/](https://downloads.sava.rocks/TolinoVision2/) Go to your downloads folders and install them both with: ``` adb install org.ds.simple.ink.launcher-1.2-release.apk ``` and ``` adb install koreader-android-arm-v2026.07.1.apk ``` ## Finishing touches ### Default launcher Make sure you click the physical home button on your Tolino Vision 2 and choose that the default custom launcher will be Simple Ink Launcher. Make sure to also select "Always" ### Custom fonts Custom fonts can be loaded in KOReader by placing .ttf fonts inside the fonts directory on the root of your Tolino Vision 2. ``` Tolino (Drive) ├── .tolino/ ├── Books/ ├── fonts/ └── koreader/ ``` ### Custom key mappings: back tap your Tolino Vision 2 Download the file https://downloads.sava.rocks/TolinoVision2/event_map.lua and place it inside the folder koreader -> settings It should look like this: ``` Tolino (Drive) ├── fonts/ └── koreader/ └── settings/ └── event_map.lua ``` You can also edit the back tap to do another action. The file event_map.lua has it mapped to the page forward action in KOReader. ### BookOrbit If you have your own instance of BookOrbit running you can download the KOReader Plugin from the Settings Menu. Enjoy your refreshed, syncing, ready for 2027 Tolino Vision 2
